What is Gateball

A modern spin on mini golf using a stick and numbered balls, it is strategic and combines strategies and mild physical exercise.

There are over 10 million fans playing Gateball worldwide.  Some of the countries participating in the sport are New Zealand, Japan, China, India, Europe, Australia, Hawaii, Philippines, Indonesia, Russia, Brazil, South Africa and Canada. 

The game is only 30 minutes and includes various techniques such as touching, sliding and sparking. Gateball is a fast paced, non-contact, highly strategic team game, which can be played by anyone aged from 8 - 90 years of age, regardless of gender. 

Teamwork is the key to winning.  In Australia and New Zealand, doubles, triples and teams of 5-8 are very popular for the competitive player.  Gateball is a game of skill and strategy, it requires skill like billiards players and strategy like a chess or bridge player.
